Our mission is to support the long-term sustainability of Uplift Charity by providing an annual, predictable source of revenues to support operations, while preserving the purchasing power of the original gifts, and to increase independence from funding trends outside the organization’s control. Uplift Charity is a nonprofit organization with the sole purpose of assisting those in need and helping them gain the ability to be self-sufficient.

A waqf is a charitable endowment where the original gift is preserved and invested according to Sharia principles. Only the returns are used—creating ongoing benefit (Sadaqah Jariyah) for generations.
